Food as the one core in human existence requires a continuous advancement and improvement in other to ensure its availability, quality and safety there by avoiding food waste, malnutrition and even death.
The problem of developing countries like Nigeria with a growing population and urbanization; is lack of resources and the expertise needed to deal with pre and post – harvest losses in food processing, climate change and food hygiene has adversely affect the food chain in my country-Nigeria.
The world will be safer and better if the little things ignored are often put into proper consideration and that is the target of quality assurance.
Therefore, Operating a food quality and assurance laboratory networks and also training others with the necessary skills needed to solve quality assurance, research and analyses problems in food industry in Nigeria is my desired goal as this will ensure the availability, quality and safety of food. This is also aimed at partnering with both industrial and educational sector.
