Alh Yinusa Bello-Oniboki, the lawmaker-elect for Afon constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, has expressed his appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for their roles in the reconstruction of the Eiyenkorin-Afon-Offa-Osun State boundary road. He made this statement after the Federal Executive Council approved the reconstruction of four major roads in Kwara State last week.

Bello-Oniboki praised both the federal and Kwara State governments for their efforts in establishing the Federal Neurophycratic Hospital in Budo Egba, constructing the Afon-Aboto-Oyo State boundary road, and the asphalt overlay of Afon township roads. He emphasized that the reconstruction of the boundary road would facilitate the movement of agricultural produce, leading to accelerated socio-economic transformation of Afon constituency.

In addition, Bello-Oniboki appealed to President Buhari to approve the bill seeking to establish a Federal College of Education in Afon. He expressed confidence that the establishment of the college would further enhance educational opportunities for the people of Afon constituency and its environs.

Overall, the approval of the boundary road reconstruction project is seen as a positive development that will contribute to the growth and development of Kwara State.
