Mmesoma Ejikeme, the accused candidate in the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME forgery controversy, has vehemently denied the allegations made by the examination board. In a video obtained in Abuja, Ejikeme asserted her innocence and claimed that she did not forge her UTME result, contrary to JAMB’s claims.
Addressing the camera, Ejikeme confidently stated, “I am Ejikeme Mmesoma, and I am the rightful owner of this result. When I accessed the JAMB portal to print my result, this is what I received, showing my aggregate score of 362.” She went on to reveal a crucial piece of evidence, explaining, “Interestingly, when they scanned the QR code on my result, it displayed the name ‘Omotola Afolabi,’ a Yoruba name, with a score of 138. However, upon rechecking, Omotola’s score was adjusted to 338, indicating a significant discrepancy.”
Ejikeme’s statement challenges JAMB’s accusations and highlights a potential flaw in the examination board’s assessment process. As the controversy surrounding her alleged forgery unfolds, it becomes crucial to delve deeper into the evidence and investigate the root cause of the problem.
