You’re viewing the world in a muddy glass when u feel it’s impossible to get it right or you think you are a failure or a chain of events leading to mishaps turns into a never ending pattern of bad luck.
Viewing the world through a muddy glass is when you keep making interpretations when they are no facts to convincingly support your claim.
Thus, when things go sideways, it’s important to know that we made these choices and it’s important to accept the resultant effect either positive or negative.
We have to take a stand on seeking happiness in every turn. Regardless of a failed return to investment that was supposed lead to happiness.
I’ve always said to myself if this doesn’t work? I’m through…. no more being nice…. I won’t love again…. No more Mr. Nice guy, et al…. but then I realized, this is who I am, I won’t stop being this version of myself. Even if it all ends now I’m looking forward to the best that is yet to come because after every pain there’s always laughter.
Thus take solace in this:
It’s possible that whoever or whatever is causing you a bit of uneasiness or abandon is not weighted for your frame. It’s as simple as that.
When you feel heartbroken; realize that all our human innate desires (including love) are transactions, which we use for exchanges. Hence we are allowed to turn these transactions on and off whenever we choose.
When we seek answers from a deity; it is Gods prerogative to answer. Thinking an answer is like telling the giver to sit back while you figure out the outcome.
Whenever you feel it’s impossible to get it right or you think yourself a failure or there is a never ending pattern of ill luck around you, say this to yourself “I am Chris. I know I will get it right. What I’m looking for is inside me. It is developing and learning and one day it will blossom into a beautiful edifice that everyone will respect and fear”
