Preliminary investigation findings suggest that the suspect, Maimunatu Suleiman, stabbed her husband, Aliyu Muhammad, during an altercation that occurred on July 5th, 2023, at approximately 6:00 PM in their matrimonial home. The motive behind the dispute is believed to be the husband’s decision to take a second wife, although these reports are yet to be officially confirmed.
